Sage Abra Attendance allows easy setup of virtually unlimited variations of employee attendance and time-off plans. Broad inherent flexibility permits you to define your own rules for accruing and tracking employee absences and attendance benefits. Comprehensive, customizable management reports and analyses allow you to quickly detect problems with employees or within departments. Fully interfaced with Sage Abra HR and Sage Abra Payroll, Sage Abra Attendance adds enormous functionality to your Sage Abra HRMS.

Operational Flexibility
Navigation within the Sage Abra HRMS is simplified by dividing tasks into Actions, Processes, Analysis, Reports, Rules, Details, and Query.

Actions: Actions guide you through the steps necessary to accomplish a task, and make entering information easy. Adding a new employee, Assigning a leave of absence, Creating an on demand check, Deleting a requisition, Recording a Pay Change are all examples of Actions.

Processes: Processes within Sage Abra refer to the procedures you follow to accomplish a given task. Accrue Time, Change Attendance Plans, Print Checks, Import Calculations, Run Trial Payroll are all examples of Processes.

Analysis: Analyses within Sage Abra offer methods to examine your data critically. The Absences by Hour Analysis, Turnover Analysis, and Performance to Longevity Analysis are all examples.

Reports: Reports are the printed or on screen results of your data queries. Sage Abra HRMS literally provides hundreds of standard reports and the capability for an unlimited number of custom reports.

Rules: Sage Abra Rules encompass the setup options and tables which enable you to optimize Sage Abra HRMS for your organization. Deduction Codes, Earnings Code, Attendance Plan Setup, and Absence Reason Codes are all examples of Sage Abra Rules.

Details: When you perform an action, Sage Abra HRMS provides one or more details pages so you can enter or view information on those pages and complete your task. Each step in an action corresponds to a details page. Some actions require many steps and, therefore, many details pages. For example, when you perform the Record New Hire action, you are presented with several steps with corresponding details pages.

Query: Sage Abra Secure Query is a desktop query and reporting tool that enables you to quickly and easily generate or modify requests for specific information. For example, sometimes you just need answers in a hurry to prepare for a meeting or to help make projections.

FMLA Compliance
Record and track the information required for compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act.
Integration With Sage Abra HRMS HR and Payroll

Flexible Accruals
Choose either accrual or lump sum calculation methods to accrue time on a daily basis, or award a lump sum at the beginning of a year, month or week.
Compare Hours Available To Hours Taken
Track year-to-date hours available versus year-to-date hours taken.

Absences By Day

Analyze the absenteeism in your organization. See which employees were absent on a particular day of the week as well as the reason they were absent. Sage Abra Attendance collects information from the employees’ absence transactions page and displays the pertinent information for analysis.
Unlimited Attendance Plans
Manage an unlimited number of attendance plans including regular paid absences such as vacation, personal leave and illness.
Flexible Setup
Maintain separate, date-sensitive accounting for each attendance plan for fiscal, calendar and anniversary accrual years.
Seniority Levels
Sage Abra Attendance uses seniority levels to calculate accrued time. For example, one seniority level might be: after five years of service, begin accumulating time at the rate of 15 days per year.
Track Time In Days or Hours
Use hours, days, or other units of measure to track time.
Carry over unused time into the next accrual year and track the maximum carryover hours over the course of one year or a lifetime.
Track Absences
Record absences such as jury duty, medical leave, bereavement, and other compensatory or leave time.
Absence Points
As employees incur absences, they can also accrue absence points. Use this feature to monitor these absence points to highlight attendance problems.
Instant Queries
Obtain an instant, year-to-date snapshot of employee attendance that can help answer employees’ questions. Answer ad hoc questions without having to create a complex report with the Sage Abra Secure Query tool.

Attendance Summary
A comprehensive collection of over 50 standard and pre-formatted Crystal reports gives you unmatched insight into the database for in-depth analysis of the hiring process. Easily send reports in Adobe PDF format via Email.
Sorted by organization level and absence reason code, the report provides statistics on the average number of absences per employee. You can specify a date range for the report as well as show averages for only one absence reason code or all codes. This report shows a summary of attendance information for each plan, including carryover hours, hours accrued, hours taken and hours available. It also lists absences chronologically for each plan.
Use this report to view a summary of hours accrued, taken and available as of the current accrual date.
For each weekday, the report shows the percentage of absences for each Absence Reason. You specify a date range for the report.
