Operational Flexibility
Navigation within the Sage Abra HRMS is simplified by dividing tasks into Actions, Processes, Analysis, Reports, Rules, Details, and Query.

Actions: Actions guide you through the steps necessary to accomplish a task, and make entering information easy. Adding a new employee, Assigning a leave of absence, Creating an on demand check, Deleting a requisition, Recording a Pay Change are all examples of Actions.

Processes: Processes within Abra refer to the procedures you follow to accomplish a given task. Accrue Time, Change Attendance Plans, Print Checks, Import Calculations, Run Trial Payroll are all examples of Processes.

Analysis: Analyses within Abra offer methods to examine your data critically. The Absences by Hour Analysis, Turnover Analysis, and Performance to Longevity Analysis are all examples.

Reports: Reports are the printed or on screen results of your data queries. Sage Abra HRMS literally provides hundreds of standard reports and the capability for an unlimited number of custom reports.

Rules: Abra Rules encompass the setup options and tables which enable you to optimize Sage Abra HRMS for your organization. Deduction Codes, Earnings Code, Attendance Plan Setup, and Absence Reason Codes are all examples of Abra Rules.

Details: When you perform an action, Sage Abra HRMS provides one or more details pages so you can enter or view information on those pages and complete your task. Each step in an action corresponds to a details page. Some actions require many steps and, therefore, many details pages. For example, when you perform the Record New Hire action, you are presented with several steps with corresponding details pages.

Query: Abra Secure Query is a desktop query and reporting tool that enables you to quickly and easily generate or modify requests for specific information. For example, sometimes you just need answers in a hurry to prepare for a meeting or to help make projections.

Interview Scheduling
The interviewing process may involve a series of interviews, often scheduled back-to-back for convenience. Use the Interview Schedule page to set up and track interview invitations.
Applicant Search
Find qualified applicants based on skill, school, previous employer, requisition requirements or by building your own search criteria.
Requisition
Record and store information about an open job position, such as salary, status, EEO classification, recruiter, location and supervisor.
EEO Analysis Inquiries And Reports
Run EEO Analysis reports by Status, Position Desired, Referral Source, and Reject Reason. Preview the analyses to screen before printing.
Processes
Import Resumes
Abra Recruiting Solution will automatically recognize and import resumes in Microsoft Word format. It will gather significant data within the résumé, and organize the data into separate categories. Abra Recruiting Solution pulls out the name, address and phone number and other data automatically enters the information into the appropriate fields.
Email Resumes
Eliminate the bulky transfer of paper by Emailing resumes of qualified applicants directly to hiring managers.

Flexible Setup Criteria
Abra Recruiting Solution includes both predefined code tables and code tables you create yourself. The predefined tables can be used as they are or modify them to suit your company’s needs.

Applicant Status History
Whenever you send a letter or change an applicant's status, Abra Recruiting Solution automatically creates a history record within the Applicant Status History file.
Applicant Notes
Use the Applicant Notes page to add as many notes as you like associated with a particular applicant.
Applicant Skills
Use the Applicant Skills page to enter and store skills for each applicant. After you enter a number of skills for each applicant, Abra Recruiting Solution can later search your records for particular skills required to fill a job requisition.
Applicant Attachments
Attach graphics files, word documents, spreadsheets, etc. to an applicant’s file. A convenient location to store an image of the applicant’s original resume.

This report is sorted on the first level by position desired, then on the second level by applicant name. Profiles consist the following data: applicant name and ID, Social Security number, address, telephone, date of application, current status and date, EEO classification, referral code, recruiter, last letter sent and the date, as well as codes for gender, ethnic origin, veteran and disability. The report also contains information on the applicant's skills, education and previous employment, as well as routing, activity history and requisition information.
This report, sorted by name, is a schedule of applicants scheduled to be interviewed. The information included is interview date and time, person to see, department and comments for each interview.
This report summarizes applicant tracking activity by referral source. It lists the number of applicants, number of routings, number of invites, number of offers and number of acceptances for each source.
This report shows all information about a requisition, including all the information entered on the Requisition, Requisition Requirements and Requisition Notes pages.
This report summarizes applicants by EEO category, gender and race.
This report shows all applicants by EEO category, gender, race, name and position desired. In order to print this report correctly, you must enter data in the Ethnic Origin and Gender fields on the Demographics page and enter data in the EEO field on the Application page.
