Import From Variety Of Sources
Using Visual Integrator, you can easily import from a variety of sources, such as: SQL Databases, any ODBC 3.5 Compliant Data Source, ASCII files, Delimited (CSV) Files, Lotus .wks and .wk4, Excel Version 4 .xls, and dBASE III Plus.
Set imports/exports to run at specified time, or prescribed intervals.
Chain Imports/Exports Together
Chain imports or exports together so that an invoice import immediately follows a customer import, for example.
Each import or export job can be assigned a password, which is then required before the job can be run.
Run-Time Assignment of Values
Configure an import to prompt for specific data to be uniquely assigned each time a job is run.
Run Script Files
You may configure Visual Integrator to run a script file immediately upon successful completion of an import.
Built into validation logic ensures that the data being imported conforms to Sage MAS 90® and Sage MAS 200® rules. New validations may also be created for specialized requirements.
Support User Defined Fields
User Defined Field you have created will appear automatically for selection when Visual Integrator operates on the entity to which they are attached.
Import Fields Conditionally
Conditional importing allows a field to be assigned based on the value of another field. For example, the sales tax code can be assigned based on the state field in the customer address.
Test and Preview
The Test button permits easy viewing of sample data. You can also sample an entire file and print or display import log statistics (number of records imported, etc.).
Easily import and run jobs that were created at another location.
